Merry Christmas!! - Candy Cane Nails

I hope everyone is having a wonderful and safe holiday season! I usually don't do holiday inspired manicures but this year I felt a little festive. :D I've been accumulating several striping polishes but I rarely use them because I have yet to master a technique to achieving clean and even stripes.  I figured candy cane nails would be a great way to practice.

They didn't come out as bad as I thought they would but I can see that I need lots of practice so that I can have better control of the brush.

For this manicure I used the following:
  • Ulta Salon Formula Nail Lacquer: Snow White (White) - $3.00
  • LA. Colors Art Deco Nail Art Lacquer: Red Glitter (Red base with red micro glitter) - $1.00
  • Stripe Rite: 98560 (Clear base with silver micro glitter) - $2.99

Now I just need ideas for New Years nails...

Cute tips, Jessenia! I love your accent nail! :D
I usually try to get as little polish on the brush as I can, and go over lines if I need them to be thicker. I find that if they're too thick, it's harder to fix.
