Zoya Gabrielle - Swatches

I figured it was about time I started rocking Halloween colors on my nails so I was going to head out in search for a nice shimmery orange. I decided to quickly look through my polish drawer just to make sure I didn't have anything similar to what I wanted and low and behold, I found Zoya's Gabrielle.

Color Description: Zoya Nail Polish in Gabrielle can be best described as: Translucent shimmering orange with flecks of golden glitter. Outshine the sun in this perfect summer shade.
Color Family: Corals
Finish: Metallic
Intensity: 3 ( 1=Sheer - 5=Opaque )
Tone: Warm
Original Collection: Masquerade

The color, as seen in the bottle, is a beautiful bright orange with loads of gold micro glitter, however, as you can see on the brush, the orange is super translucent.  With one coat all you'll really see is the gold glitter.  It takes a good 3 coats for the orange to show through and five coats for it to become opaque.
Here you see five coats of Gabrielle and no top coat.  The shimmer is gorgeous but if you'd rather not layer on all the coats, you'd probably be better off applying a colored polish as a base first.

To get more of a Halloween vibe, I added black to the tips, painted my accent nail black and painted on a silver web.

I used to never like orange before, but the color is REALLY growing on me. And the color of that polish.. soooo pretty!!!!
I wonder how it would like like layered on something like black?
