OPI The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Collection - Nail Polish Swatches

OPI's The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Collection includes trend-setting shades of pink, lavender, and sage.
OPI released their long awaited Pirates of the Caribbean inspired collection on Mother's Day, May 8, 2011.  I made my way to Ulta and decided to purchase the mini set which includes four of the six creamy pastel polishes in the collection.  Missing from the set are Steady as She Rose, a pale pink, and Mermaid's Tears, a sea foam green.

The mini set costs $12.50 and the full size polishes are $8.50 each.

Skull & Glossbones - creamy muddy pale khaki gray. (Shown with two coats.)

Planks a Lot - creamy lavender. (Shown with two coats.)

Sparrow Me the Drama - creamy cool toned pink. (Shown with two coats.)

Stranger Tides - creamy muddy sage green. (Shown with two coats.)
Many people have said that this collection has nothing to do with pirates.  I understand that most people wouldn't think of these creamy pastel muddy colors when thinking of pirates, however, I do think these colors do coordinate with the colors used in the Pirates of the Caribbean films.  Overall I like these colors and may purchase a full size bottle of Skull & Glossbones, Stranger Tides, and may pick up Mermaid's Tears.  I'll be skipping on the others, not because I don't like them, but because I have other polishes that may not be exact dupes, but are close enough.
