Quite Cute Lipstick: Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street! What made M·A·C famous. $14.50 ea.
Candy Yum-Yum: Matte neon pink.I absolutely love Candy Yum-Yum! Is it a color I'd wear regularly? No, but I just love the color and how bright it is in general. It's a highly pigmented matte finish lipstick but not drying at all.
Playing Koi: Creamy white peach pink.
Play Time: Creamy intense violet.
Quite Cute: Creamy bright whitened lavender.
Playing Koi is a pretty color but it's just not for me. It's too pale alone and tends to give me a washed out look so I may try to layer a tinted lipgloss to liven it up. Playing Koi is a satin finish lipstick.
Since Candy Yum-Yum and Playing Koi were pretty opaque, I expected Play Time to be an opaque purple lipstick. However I was surprised, maybe even pleasantly surprised, to find that Play Time is actually semi-sheer. I find this to be the most wearable lipstick color from this collection. Play Time is a cremesheen lipstick.
Quite Cute is a pale semi-sheer lavender. I feel it washes me out a tad, but not nearly as much as Playing Koi. It is a pretty color alone but I'm very curious of how it would look layered over other more pigmented lipsticks. I'll have to play around with it some more. Quite Cute is a cremesheen lipstick.
