OPI Black Shatter Nail Polish

I remember having crackle/shatter type of polishes a loooooooooooooooooooong time ago.  Back when everyone was rocking L.A. Gear sneakers with two different shoe lace colors.  The trend died out but it's making a comeback!  I've been hearing a lot about OPI's Shatter polishes so I decided to head off to ULTA to step up my nail game.  I purchased several nail polishes including OPI Black Shatter and ORLY Hawaiian Punch.  I thought the black shatter would look great over the bright fuchsia polish.

OPI Black Shatter: a revolutionary new color that creates a "shattered" effect when applied over dry lacquer. It was released with the Serena Glam Slam and Katy Perry limited edition collections. - $10.00
ORLY Hawaiian Punch: part of ORLY's Dazzling Shimmer Permanent Collection. - $5.49
Taaaaaa-Daaaaaaaaaah!  I first applied two coats of Hawaiian Punch.  Once it was completely dry, I applied one thin coat of Black Shatter and finished it with an ultra gloss top coat.  It's pretty simple but you do have to work quickly with the shatter polish as it begins to do its magic within seconds.  The thinner the coat, the more shatter you'll see.  For the ring finger,  I decided to just use a black nail polish with Hawaiian Punch on the tip and a little bow on the side. ;D
