E.L.F. Elements Custom Eyes - Eyeshadows w/ Swatches

While shopping at Target last week, I decided to check out the cosmetics department to see if anything caught my eye.  I stopped at the E.L.F. section and noticed their Elements Custom Eyes Eyeshadows.  I decided to grab a few of them along with the Elements empty palette to create a quad for my sister who is not into makeup much.  She only wears makeup when she has a huge special occasion and she usually asks me to do a neutral look for her. At just $1.00 each, I thought these would be great for her to have.
E.L.F. Elements: create your own custom palette…
…for your eyes, lips, and face with a personalized compact designed by you from e.l.f. Cosmetics.

Custom Compact: Create your own custom palette for your eyes, lips, and face with a personalized compact designed by you from e.l.f. Cosmetics. - $1.00 ea.
The compact has a mirror and it includes a double sided applicator.  The compact itself is very sturdy and convenient.  You just pop in up to four standard size magnetized pans and you're set.  I'm thinking about purchasing a couple more for those times you want to carry a couple of eyeshadows in your purse for any emergency touch ups.

Custom Eyes: Luxuriously smooth and silky mineral formula provides eyes with a neutral base and an awakened brightness for a long-lasting wear. Choose your favorite colors that best compliment your unique and beautiful look. - $1.00 ea.
The colors I chose were:
  • Dusk - gunmetal black with slight silver shimmer
  • Mocha - satin bronze/brown
  • Moondust - satin taupe/brown
  • Pink Ice - frosty mauve
  • Ivory - soft satin white

The top row was swatched without primer and the bottom with Too Faced Shadow Insurance.  I was pleasantly surprised with the pigmentation and staying power. Using primer, these lasted a good eight hours.  They probably would've lasted longer but it was bed time ;D.
