I am a HUGE fan of Victoria's Secret's body washes, lotions and body mists. I probably own most of the classic Secret Garden Collections, some of my favorites being Strawberries & Champagne, Endless Love, Love Spell, and of course, Pear Glace. However, I had never tired their Beauty Rush line of lotions and mists until Saturday. I had been meaning to get my hands on the Cupquake Body Double Mist for some time now but the stores have been ridiculously crowded because of the holidays. The Beauty Rush body items are $12.00 ea. or 3 for $25, so when my sister told me she was headed out to Victoria's Secret, I asked her to pick up the Cupquake Body Double Mist, Body Drink Lotion, and the Body Glimmer Swirl Cream for me.
Cupquake Body Double Mist - Yay, it's purple! When you look at the bottle, it looks as if a clear oil has settled at the bottom. You're suppose to shake up the bottle before spritzing so that the two layers of skin conditioners mix. I actually like the light vanilla cupcake/buttercream scent, however, the scent does seem to die down quickly and as far as "skin conditioners", my skin didn't notice any difference.
Cupquake Body Drink Lotion - This lotion seems to have a much stronger vanilla/buttery scent which stays on for hours so a little goes a long way. It's a great moisturizing lotion but I'd like it more if the scent was toned down a bit.
Cupquake Body Glimmer Swirl Cream - Eww! ::insert gas face smiley:: I don't know what it is, but it definitely doesn't smell like the other two items. Love how it looks in the bottle, the idea of shimmering body lotion, and the fact that it has shea butter & B5 but the smell is a no-go!
So it looks like I'll be headed off to Victoria's Secret soon to return the Body Glimmer Swirl Cream. I may exchange it for one of the other scents like Appletini or Berry Cosmo. And of course, I'll probably stock up on some of the Beauty Rush lip glosses, 5 for $20! ;D
